Fall Foliage Season (Sept. 14th to Oct. 9th)

Fall-Foliage-in-Vermont-Northeast-Kingdom

There is no better place to be than Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom during fall foliage season. The trip is worth it, escape for a weekend or a week to explore and take in all of the beautiful colors. The forests in the Northeast Kingdom are always the first to change color in Vermont, usually from the end of September to very early October. Quimby Country, in Averill, is the perfect base to explore the area on both sides of the Canadian border. This is also a perfect time to get in some end of the summer fishing and experience some of the best Upland Hunting in New England.

Our rates include your own private cottage overlooking Forest Lake, with full bath, living room, wood stove, and porch. Many of our cottages also include full kitchens; small refrigerators are available for all. Guests enjoy complimentary use of our canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and rowboats (with trolling motors) on Forest Lake, Great Averill, and Little Averill Lakes. Use of our clay tennis court, recreation hall, and the main lodge with fireplace, library, is also included. Check out our facilities gallery!
